Privacy Policy

ScanPaper ("we", "us", or "our") is a secure document scanner designed to help users capture, organize, and save documents easily. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle user data.

Data Collection and Usage

ScanPaper does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All scanned documents, folders, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not access, process, or share your data with any third party.

Face ID and Security Features

ScanPaper offers the option to lock access to the app using Face ID (or your device’s biometric authentication system). This feature is solely used for local authentication and does not transmit or store any biometric data. All biometric verification is securely handled by your device’s operating system, and we do not have access to any biometric information.

Subscriptions and RevenueCat Integration

ScanPaper offers subscription-based premium features managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process transaction data to validate and manage your subscription. However, ScanPaper does not collect, store, or process any personal or financial information related to these transactions. For more details, please refer to RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we recommend securing your device with biometric locks, passcodes, and keeping your system updated. ScanPaper is not responsible for data loss due to device failure or user actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of ScanPaper after updates signifies your acceptance of the revised policy.
